- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard price for drum lessons is typically $30 per half hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I have a new student I will schedule a time to talk over the phone or via Skype/Facetime. First we will discuss goals and expectations and then we will discuss payment and scheduling (I use an app called FONS. It handles reoccurring payments and It gives the student alerts and the ability to reschedule/cancel without having to email or call the teacher).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to Grace Bible Collage for a music degree and took drum lessons for the first six years of my drumming life. I taught drums for years at the same place I originally was trained. During my training I learned how to read drum music, and how to critically listen to music in order to capture key rhythms. I have played with multiple touring bands and have been a studio drummer for countless albums. For part of my life, I lived in Nashville, TN where I learned what is necessary for a drummer to be great.to make a great drummer.
