Introduction: You have likely landed here for a reason, and I want to start by offering encouragement to you as you begin the journey toward healing and emotional health for yourself or your child. I believe the counseling relationship should be one where both client and therapist work collaboratively to achieve the client's set goals. We are both experts in this process, coming together to present the knowledge we have in order to walk slowly or run full speed at healing. I specialize in serving children, adolescents and adults, along with their support systems, to heal and find hope among the chaos of life. I believe that big life events, everyday stress, history of trauma, and simply being human are all reasons to seek services. I offer services using multiple approaches, including CBT, SFBT, Mindfulness, EMDR, Family Systems, and much more. In addition to ongoing treatment for anxiety, depression and adjustment disorders, I also specialize in the treatment of adolescent and women's issues. I have extensive specialized training and experience in the areas of perinatal (pregnancy) and postpartum mood and adjustment disorders (postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD/ Birth Trauma), family conflict, development of coping skills, communication skills, expressive arts, couples/ marital counseling, and eating disorders.
