FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first meeting is over the phone to discuss their interests. Then I will meet with the new homeowner at the model home or the home they are constructing. If they currently are residing in the home they wish to add a home theater, security system, wireless audio, cameras, etc. I offer to travel to their home to discuss their ideas. A proposal and pricing can possibly be done at the time of the first meeting, if not, they will receive the proposal with pricing within 48 hours.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a background in security through my many years of working in law enforcement and as a private detective. The training I received for low voltage wiring, designing home theaters, digital audio, camera systems was working for a National Security Company, as well as Alarm.com, and on the job training with professionals in the building and wiring industry for over 40 years. I've been awarded several accommodations for consulting, advocacy, and certified in security systems.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My background is in law enforcement and advocacy, so I thoroughly enjoy working with the public. I became a security consultant and had the desire to learn more about construction of homes and wiring, more so than just security systems. I became well trained in low voltage structured wiring and enjoyed obtaining the knowledge and expertise in designing.
