FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price everything by the job. I don't want to get in a bind on a job, or have to make a run to Lowe's on an hourly pay. That's not fair to the customer. I believe the customer should know what they are paying before anything begins. It takes a major issue for me to ask a customer to pay me more in the middle of a job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication is first. I contact the customer and set up a time to assess the job. I give all the options to the customer if at all possible. I make sure the customer is satisfied when I am done, or I make sure it's right one way or another.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've mostly trained from the school of hard knocks. I have done all types of handyman work for about 25 years. Alot of it was at my own home, but most has been done for other people and family. I enjoy it, I think that's why I've learned so much over the years.
