Do not hire this company. We hired him to lay 3 concrete slabs, and 4 walkways. The first day of prep went well, but on the second day I had to call Juan to find out where his workers where. He told me that one of his workers had been arrested for driving without a license, I later learned from that worker that his daughter was sick and had to be taken to the hospital, as a mother and grandmother, i would have understood that! There was no reason to lie! On day 3 (day 2 of work) the worker, who where great at there job and nice, showed up for work, waited on the cement truck that showed up, and under Juan direction, drove across my yard after I already told him about my sprinkler system, he chose not to rent the extra equipment(that I was going to pay half of). The workers had to transport the concrete buy wheelbarrows, that was mine and my neighbors(they where broken after). Concrete was dropped in my yard. Then they ran out of concrete, Juan assured me that a whole truck was enough, so I had to pay for another truck to come out with more concrete, his estimate was a job! Again they ran out of concrete and was now trying to get some of the concrete that was wasted in the yard and put it on the slab. The worker was very uneasy doing this. That spot on the slab still looked uneven. I told Juan I was not happy and he told me he would come back and put a top coat on the next day. He did not! And I could not get in touch with him, so i called his worker whom came out and put the top coat on, that he purchased with his own money. The next day, my husband turned on our sprinkler system and water was bubbling out the ground like crazy, when I called Juan he told me to call his worker, I told him he took responsibility and it was his company. He told me he would come out, but then another lie! His truck broke down! But later the truth came out, he had not plans on coming out. I did call his worker who came out to fix the problem along with my husband and his son. Juan is an unprofessional, unreliable, inexperienced liar! I only seen him when it was time to collect money. He also accused me of stealing from him, because the last payment was given to his worker as he instructed me to do. (I was also told he did not pay his workers) My husband is a retired 20 year Military K9 Military Police officer, whom work for the VA, we do not steal!!! My son is a correctional officer, we do not steal! I have many, many, many text to back up EVERYTHING I have said! RUN, DO NOT HIRE!! OH AND ON THE FIRST DAY MY HUSBAND AND I GAVE JUAN MONEY TO BUY HIM WORKERS LUCH, WE ALSO GAVE THEM SNACKS AND DRINKS ALL 4 DAYS.
