Introduction: I’m Melinda Fey, a professional yoga instructor and graphic designer. My practice has been going strong for over 6 years. When I started this journey I never thought I would become a yoga instructor. I was looking for clarity of mind and a little physical activity. Somehow what I was being taught in the yoga studio was radiating out because my friends and coworkers started asking for support in their practice. I believe everyone can achieve a healthier life through physical activity and encouragement. My teaching space is inviting towards all people. I practice compassion and patience and always remind my students that “yoga is a practice not a perfect”.
I love meeting new people, and I especially like working one on one.

Melinda is truly wonderful. Her calm, soothing voice guides you through your yoga practice. Her fun-loving personality assures you that as long as you're breathing deeply and listening to your body, you're practicing yoga. I feel at ease and relaxed in her classes. Don't get me wrong though: you'll definitely build strength also! I leave her classes feeling so relaxed, but at the same time I'm wondering how I sweat that much!
