FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
SRG Electric is, and has been competitively priced out as a requirement of our sustaining our business model. We feel that it is more important about for our customers are paying for the knowledge, more than doing the actual work. Our work has been said, time and time again, to be installed professionally, and clean, including the locations you cannot see. That said, we do not take shortcuts!!! Our standard service call (trouble call) is billed out at $300 for the first two hours of work. This price covers our travel to your job, two hours of working with hand tools, and solving your issue, or obtaining a quote to repair and remedy your problem.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
SRG Electric will typically walk though, and explain the processes of any electrical installation, along with its importance, and the reason why. We also like to offer other options that can keep the cost effectiveness of the job down as much as possible. We also specialize in design builds.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Out of high school, I took a class at a local vocational school. The class that was available then, was called Electrical Maintenance Technician. I then proceeded to take the second class that they offered, AC/DC Motor Controls, that next quarter. After that, it was to scour through the local newspaper classifieds (back in the day) to acquire jobs. In 1995 I joined the union local for a few years, bought a house and got married to my beautiful wife in 1998 in San Jose, CA. It wasn't until 2004 that i decided to start my own company in the bay area, which is still going strong today. We moved to the beautiful state of Oregon to home our four horses on our own property. Early this year, I took the State electrical test and became licensed up here, as well. So far, so good!!
