- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In most situations I will give a solid bid price for the work upfront. If there is any doubt I will give a price range.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with a new client face to face at first. It is sort of an informal interview. Getting to know each other and what the expectations are. When I do contract with a new client I will expect to receive 50% payment up front with the balance upon delivery.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS degree in accounting from Weber State University (1989). Working primarily in start-up companies. Setting-up and managing accounting systems and procedures. Started my own tax / accounting business in 2002. Got my enrolled agent certification in 2009.
