I travel throughout the U.S. as well as internationally monthly and fine dining is a big part of my life. My experiences with most Wine Experts and Wine Directors seems always to receive from them a great deal of information about themselves, the wine facts they have learned and an overall opinion of they are just way above me and my wine interests, questions and needs. Alex has ALWAYS been about me, my guests, friends and customers. He asks questions to help us. And, he always helps us! He is a very good listener and does not push his vast wine knowledge on us but rather tries to always focus on our personal interests. He will choose a wine for us or he will do nothing but answer questions for us so we can decide on the wine. I have yet to have a bottle of wine he has suggested to drink that has not met or exceeded my expectations. He has always allowed our choice of wine be a selection WE feel comfortable with, be it by his wine suggestion at our request or our wine selection ourselves have made, our food selection, a budget concern or even a trivial question we had which he has given his welcomed response. As I have stated, he is a very good listener and has always met our needs as well as the many people we send to him for his help. You will not be disappointed with Alex Bargsley. He is a very thoughtful, interested and knowledgable wine consult. Enjoy.
