- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending whether or not we meet in the office or not, an initial appointment is around $100 (or $120 in the office). Follow up appointments are shorter and usually around $85. Depending on the distance to travel to meet a client, I may charge for driving time. I do not currently accept insurance but will in the near future! I do offer a sliding scale and am happy to work with anyone who is not able to pay full price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with an initial nutrition consultation in which I do a thorough intake including health history, diet history, medication/supplements, lab assessments and current health goals. During this session, we end with some nutrition education and set some goals. During the next sessions, we follow up on those goals, change them if necessary, and dive more deeply into relevant nutrition information or counseling.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master of Science in Nutrition, have completed a dietetic internship and passed the Registered Dietitian Exam.
