- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All pricing is an estimate only and are subject to change depending on the details of the project. Sewing and crat projects are priced labor only. Art projects ate priced for labor and material. Special equipment such as scafolding or lighting needed is priced separate. I except cash or PayPal. All check are only excepted on upfront payments. Project will begin once check clears. Deposits are required on all artwork and custom attire. If additions are made during the construction of the project, price is subject to change. Prices are effected by: *Amount of fabric *Type of fabric *Complexity of design custom or pattern *Number of Items or quantity of project *Embellishments including buttons, zippers, lace, beading, or sequins. *Time to complete *Rushed or Time Sensitive Projects All pricing is an estimate only and are subject to change depending on the details of the project. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When first meeting with clients, I would like to get acquainted in person. I want my client to feel they are important to me and comfortable. We will then discuss your design, materials needed, and take any measurement to determine final price.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In my 3rd grade year of 1975, I tought myself to sew by watching my mother and grandmother. I sewed for my dolls and never had one compliant. I had my first sewing lesson as a Girl Scout Jr. during 4th grade. By 8th grade, I made my first professional set of slip covers for a six cushion sofa. When I started high school in 9th grade, I jumped into Home Economics Sewing for 4 years receiving several awards and assisted teaching in the classroom. I never stop learning new techniques and better ways to construct or create with fabric.
