Introduction: I've had years of experience working with all types of drummers. Young, old, experienced, beginners... Full drum lines or small drum lines you name it I have been with them. I'm very patient and I enjoy lots of questions and I allow my students time for trial and error. For me this is fun. and if you're not having fun you're not doing it right Instilling passion into others and providing a means to be great at something as spectacular as drumming. Seeing the growth that comes from hard work and practicing. Sharing clean beats with people. Just about everything about what I do, I love.

Terry whole-heartedly is passionate about rudimentary drumming. I spent more time drumming with Terry more than any other person throughout my collegiate career, and I probably wouldn't have been challenged as hard with anyone else. Terry is comfortable teaching rhythms across the full spectrum- from beginner lessons emphasizing on the importance of timing and basic rhythms to very complex compositions with odd time signatures and advanced rhythmic phrases. He can teach you how to break down anything. Understand that drumming is a lifelong journey, and Terry will be an asset to anyone along their journey.

Terry is a good guy who knows how to drum. If you're in high school or really any age and want to improve your rudimental drumming he can definitely show you some stuff. I drummed with him during college where we both learned a lot from eachother and all the other great drummers to come through the band.

In my experiences with Terry he has only shown what I can call integrity. Regardless of the situation, circumstances, or people involved, I have only seen him show respect and and a clarity of thought that would lead me to trust him with most any issue.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $30 an hour. My lessons typically are one hour but they can exceed that amount of time if my customer wishes
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to give them a pair of sticks and begin working on legato Strokes and playing some different exercises together. This way I can get a good analysis of where my students strengths and weaknesses are and I can develop a plan for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was on the Western Carolina University Drumline and taught the Western Carolina University red Drumline and assistant teaching me Western Carolina University purple line period back in high school I was the leader of my percussion Ensemble and attended and made all County and all district bands.
