- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My tutoring fees fall within the $35- $50 range depending on the numbers of hours, location, and needs of each student. I speak with each person individually and together we come to an agreement.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After someone has expressed an interest in working with me, I begin with a phone conversation which gives us a chance to get to know each other a bit and determine the student's needs and whether or not we'd a good fit. Typically we then meet in person and spend 30 minutes together free of charge to make to give us both the chance to make an honest and more informed decision about working together.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified to Teach English as a Foreign Language and have nineteen years of experience teaching English to students from all over the world. I've taken many professional developments courses over the years and also earned 9 ESOL master's credits from the University of Southern Maine.
