FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
This is my price list as of August 2018: $40/30min $55/45min $70/60min $100/90min
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is advised to arrive 10-15 minutes early first session to fill out necessary medical history forms and do a verbal intake. Written and verbal intake provides a summary of your complaints (i.e. neck pain, stress, etc), goals and caveats so I am able to provide the best experience possible. You then choose which lotion, oil, cream is most suitable for you and are given informed choices - I have several therapeutic pre-blended oils and lotions to choose from. The massage experience I provide is tailored to the needs of the client. I’m more of the clinical, rehabilitative massage camp than fluff. Nonetheless, I provide an exceptional relaxation experience as well, often integrating acupressure and energy work (with client consent) to help reduce stress. Often, I have found physical pain and stress are interwoven and so I use techniques to address both. “Relaxing clinical deep tissue” is the best way to describe what my return clientele are generally seeking, and what I would say is the cornerstone of my practice. I encourage anyone to contact me with any questions they may have prior to making an appointment by locating my contact information on my website. I do not take walk-ins and generally do not take same day appointments, but will if there is a vacancy in scheduling.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an AAS in Massage Therapy from Minnesota State Southeast in Winona; I have additional continued education in craniosacral, Reiki, cupping and myofascial release.
