FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Mac J Web we have an hourly rate of $85. For projects, we estimate how many hours it will take. Then based off that number we create project estimates. We also offer monthly website maintenance at a discounted hourly rate when the hours are pre-purchased. For more information, you can refer to our site macjweb.com.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First the initial consultation, this involves getting to know a little bit about the client and what they do, or answering any questions they may have perhaps over some coffee or lunch. If requested we also display our recent work and/or similar projects pertaining to their field. During this time if applicable we fill out a Web Questionnaire. This questionnaire gives us a better understanding of what you are looking for and how we can help you achieve that. From there we give you some home work, we ask to list three examples of websites you like and why you like them. We also ask for a couple other things such as any specific function or action you would like your site to have and any special requests. We then gather this information to create an accurate project estimate encompassing all your requests. Once you have received the proposal, the next step is up to you. We look forward to taking the next step with you.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One of our most recent project was redesigning and developing michaelphelps.com. This project took about six months long to implement and develop all their required specifications.
