Introduction: I am an enthusiastic, fun, passionate voice and piano teacher who offers an encouraging learning environment. My goal for any student is to help release their creative potential through music-making. I teach voice using classical bel canto techniques -- but don't let that intimidate you, as "bel canto" just means "beautiful singing". :) I enjoy teaching many different styles of voice. I think learning to play the piano can be a really fun, exciting process, and I enjoy using my own creativity to teach the fundamentals of musicianship in interesting ways to kids and adults. I hold a Bachelor's of Music in Voice Performance from the University of Colorado, and have pursued extensive post-collegiate studies with Carol Kirkpatrick (ariaready.net) I love watching my students make progress week after week! It's so rewarding to watch people learn, grow, and free their potential for music making. I think one of the things that differentiates me from other instructors is my ability to meet each student where they are in the moment, and adjust the pace of lessons according to each student's goals, desires, and needs. I love celebrating small and large achievements with my students, and helping encourage them to achieve things they didn't realize they were capable of.

I had a great time with Ariana. She is very musical and can communicate clearly what the student (me) needs to do to reach defined goals. Also, she is a great singer and a good model! She was accomodating and flexible regarding time.

Ariana has been wonderful to work with. I have never sang before and she has met my new desire to explore the world of singing with absolute grace. She is kind, attentive, fun to work with and makes me feel completely comfortable in something that could otherwise be really intimidating. We take adult and child classes with Arianna. She is so much fun to work with and can really cater to our individual needs for learning. She's encouraging a very skilled teacher. We love her!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Half hour lessons are $25 and hour long lessons are $40. I'm currently offering a "buy four get one free" package.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I sit down for a trial lesson with a new student, I ask them about their goals and aspirations for learning to sing or play the piano. I go over what a typical lesson is like, and then we do a bit of singing or playing to see what level they are at. If it is decided that we are a good fit together, then I will assign repertoire and talk about practicing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor's in Voice Performance from the University of Colorado Boulder. Since I graduated from the University, I have been studying with renowned soprano and teacher Carol Kirkpatrick. I have been studying piano since I was 5, including study at the University, and I have been studying voice for the past 10 years.
