- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do not have a standard pricing system because homes are so unique in their insulation needs. However, unlike some companies, we offer all of the different home insulation products and provide you with a free estimate on what your home or commercial building needs!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first goal is to set an appointment to inspect the home in person. Without being physically present, it is almost impossible to provide good and accurate quotes that will resolve an issue. Like medical doctors, we start by asking the homeowner to describe the pain they are feeling in the home and the reason for wanting to have something done. We then ask some questions about the home and how it is used. Finally, we go on a trip around the home with the homeowner to go over the points previously made in person. At this point we go on our fact finding mission to find the root causes of the issues addressed by the homeowner. We return with our findings, ask which ones are the most important, then we go over pricing. Customers love this approach because we take on only what they find important and don't feel intimidated into making a decision. The process usually takes around 90 mins.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our technicians and energy consultants are trained not only on how to install our insulation products, but also on water mitigation, mold remediation, and building ventilation and containment. This means they can see and/or prevent issues in the home that other contractors simply can't. This is due to the fact that they also take part in our restoration parent company that has been around since 1981.
