- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our prices are very competitive! Our goal is to get everyone water safe, not clean out their bank account. For the amount of training I have had and my experience, I could charge what some of these other swim schools are charging that have half the experience I have, but that limits my clientele and I never want to see someone not be able to swim, because they can't afford it. I am in the business of keeping people safe, not price gauging them.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I evaluate the swimmer and see what their strengths are and their fears (if any). I also talk to not only the swimmer, but the parent (if applicable) about how the lessons are run and what they will be working on. I build trust first and foremost.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20 year competitive swimming, CPR & First Aid Pro Cert & Trainer. Lifeguard cert and certified trainer. Also WSI, AED, Blood Borne pathogen, CPO and swim coach certified. I swam and trained under Olympians Greta Anderson, Klaus Barth and Ricardo Azevedo & I started assistant teaching at age 11 under Greta Anderson. I also have a degree in Early Childhood Development, Special Needs Education & I am a trained Physical Therapy Assistant (I can do everything but diagnose) with an emphasis on Aqua Therapy.
