- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The most time consuming part of painting a room is the initial prep work that has to be done before painting a room. Anything that doesn't need to be painted must be moved or covered up. Accurate, quotes generally consider: wall (size W x Lx H) and condition of wall, color to be covered up, colors to be added & prep work required. Additional factors include: (1) ceiling (2) trim (3) baseboards (4) crown molding (5) floor covering (6) furniture in room. We provide transparent and detailed pricing & estimates. We return calls promptly or stay in contact throughout the project. We keep our work areas as clean and neat as possible and answer questions. We work hard to use the proper tools, primer and paint to make a room look amazing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Painting is a favorite home & property improvement project and we provide a transparent and detailed estimate to ensure everyone understands what is included in the estimate and bid. We have lived and worked in the Tampa-metro area for over 17-years and are active in the community. We do the work ourselves. Process: (1) Meet with customer on-site to. (2) Itemize areas to be painted (walls, ceilings, trim, baseboards, molding, doorways, closets, doors, ... (3) Measure and document all areas to be painted. (4) Document prep work customer will do (if any, like move furniture, photos, etc) (5) Itemize preparation work painter will do. We take the time to understand what the customer's intent is, document what the customer wants painted and what we both agree will be done. We may have recommendation on colors, products finishes, trends and techniques but we understand that in the end, the customer gets the final decision. We have the experience to know what we are very good at. We provide detailed and itemized estimates based on our experience and normal painting standards.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We grew up in a military family that was stationed all over the U.S. and Europe. At almost every location, we renovated and painted our house to make it feel like home. To help for college and help our ministries, we were able to earn money by painting. Our paining education and training came from experience.
