My experience with Great Lakes Maids has been excellent. I needed an urgent clean as I had unexpected family coming into town while I was very busy at work and they were able to squeak me into their schedule. The cleaners arrived and got right to work making my house look so good even I was surprised by the end result. If there was anything I even remotely had to complain about was that they took a little longer than I expected at first. However after bringing this up I realized all the little things they had done in addition to what you'd expect to be cleaned and it all made sense. They even went ahead and cleaned out the fridge for me so that I'd have room to store some extra beverages for the company ;) Thanks again guys and I look forward to your visit.

Garrett did a great job with our house. After answering some questions for us we went ahead and booked on their website. I was a little surprised as he and a partner showed up for the cleaning as he said he doesn't typically clean but apparently one of his maids was under the weather so he let her stay home and filled in for her. I was expecting it to take longer since he doesn't clean everyday but it was completely the opposite! He took charge and went above and beyond for me and my home. Highly recommend his company Great Lakes Maids for anyone who likes the feeling of a clean house.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is simple and easy to understand. We offer a flat rate home cleaning fee for a dwelling of any size. Whether a studio apartment or a 5 bedroom home we offer a flat rate fee based on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in your home. Prices would only be affected if there is an obvious cleaning problem/situation that arises when our maids arrive which short of hoarding or post wild MSU game day party cleanups hardly happens.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Being a new customer of Great Lakes Maids is great! You just saved tons of time booking online and you can get back to doing what really matters, whatever that might be. After receiving a new booking update we will give you a phone call to discuss the details. Things like entry into your house, particular areas of interest you might want us to clean, and any special requests you might have will all be entered into our system and made available for our maids to view. Our cleaners will then show up at your desired time and get to work making your house shine!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
After being left feeling disappointed by other maid services we at Great Lakes Maids thought it was time for a wave of change in the industry. We just wanted a cleaning company that was a pleasure to use, safe and secure, and left the house looking fantastic each and every time. So after careful consideration of just what went wrong with other companies and finding real world solutions to these problems we knew exactly what had to done. Thus Great Lakes Maids was born. These solutions were set out as core values of our customer service brand to give our customers exactly what we had all wanted from our local cleaning company.
