- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, we start with an 'on-boarding' call. In this conversation we look to find out more about your market, your specialties, your unique selling proposition, and what your overall goal is of your marketing efforts. We then custom-tailor a program that will deliver your goal in the most economical fashion possible. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Ph. D. in the School of Hard Knocks. Seriously ... the MBA that I've earned didn't teach me anything close to what a complete market implosion can teach you. Our very well-respected mortgage company closed in a period if just a little over 5 weeks after the mortgage industry started tanking. I had to completely reinvent myself -- on a half-shoestring budget - and the lessons learned helped me build a streamlined operation that can provide exceptional value to my customers at an affordable price. Also, if you like certifications, we are Google Partners certified in Google Ads, Infusionsoft Certified Partners, PlusThis Certified, and recognized as one of just two dozen firms who are Zapier Expert Certified.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
In 2009, after 15 years of being an executive in a mortgage banking operation doing over $2 billion annually in origination, the mortgage industry disappeared and I needed to reinvent myself. I started a small text-message marketing business and needed to grow organically, so I researched SEO and started doing it for myself. Shortly, I took up 9 of the top 10 spots on Google's search page for my key phrases, and realized that SEO is more widely beneficial to small businesses. I started offering SEO services and quickly added website development (as most websites were not SEO-friendly). Since then, we've added click-ad management in both the Google AdWords and Facebook environments. Our company has been built from day one using Infusionsoft to power our marketing and operations, and it is the perfect hub to link all of your marketing efforts together, so I completed the Infusionsoft Certified Partner certification program and now offering consulting with that, as well.
