- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If the individual has their own horse, 50 per hour with travel expenses if over 35 miles. If no private horse, I can teach them at Columbia Horse Center and their rates apply.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Assess their interest, goals and experience and match them to an appropriate program of progressive lessons.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified Horsemanship Association Riding Instructor Certification level 4 English (Master) and level 3 Western; Degree: Masters in Teaching, Trinity University, further graduate studies in Educational Leadership, McDaniel College; riding since I was 9 years old, trained at Reddemeade, Tara Equestrian, have taken clinics with numerous renown equestrians, such as Erick Dierks, Steven Bradley, Caroline Rider and others, and for the past 10 years to the present have been training with a Grand Prix Dressage Rider/Trainer; I have shown and also trained horses; instructing others in riding and horsemanship for about 11 years. Additionally I have served as a volunteer in the training and rehabilitation of rescue horses for many years.
