My experience with Jay from Top Tier was absolutely wonderful. He was hired to complete a two projects (kitchen subway tile from floor to ceiling and MBR fireplace). He showed up each day on time and thoroughly cleaned before leaving. He asked clarifying questions on layout, grout color, etc. to ensure I was getting exactly what I wanted. He went above and beyond on the fireplace project, working through a weekend, leveling the hearth and even applying trim which was a very pleasant surprise! I've worked with a few other tile experts in the past that were flaky, unprofessional or dragged projects out for months. Jay is by far the best person I've hired. I would hire him again in a heart beat for a future project.

I hired Jay to tile all three of my bathrooms for an upgrade from linoleum to tile. He offered the best estimate compared with his competitors on Thumbtack and worked with me to arrange labor and material costs. He showed up on time each day and was very respectful of our living area. He cleaned up after a full day's work, and even brought his own lunch so he could stay on the job site. He communicates well through text and Thumbtack, and approached me honestly with any questions or concerns he had throughout the project to be sure we were on the same page. I would hire again for any tile job. Oh, he also provided references when asked, and they all got back to me with pictures and praise for his work. Thanks, Jay!

Typically I price by the square foot but there are usually a lot of factors That need to be figured in first.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, I will call the individual, set up a meeting to thourouly go over the job they're wanting to get done. Whether it's a floor, shower, backsplash, etc...
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been designing and installing Tile for just over 7 years now.
