FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For pricing go to our website flooringfashions.net and click on products. To get the best deal buy the materials from the installer. a good contractor should have a line of products that they get wholesale. if they dont maybe you have a below par installer just starting out in the trade. If we sell you the materials our profit margins dont have to be so high. Now it is different if shopping flooring dealer. the dealer is selling the instalation. meaning buying the labor and adding the profit margin to that. i have years in sales along with installation for flooring dealers so i know how it works.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will need to meet up with you at the area needing floor covering to measure and go over options you have. This is called a detail. And a list of materials needed to do the job right is made. An "over the phone quote" with customer's measurements will not be accurate enough to be written in stone. In fact I tend to give high numbers when asked to give ballpark figures just to be safe in these circumstances. A detail is REALLY THE ONLY WAY to give an actual quote.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
nwfa (natonal wood flooring association) cri (carpet and rug institute) fci (floor covering installer)
