Introduction: Utilizing Autodesk Revit I work with my clients to generate designs that fulfill their program needs, desires & vision. Then we generate a set of documents that can be submitted for plan approval to the City/County. This is true BIM (Building Information Modeling) it is fundamentally 3D generated from which sections/elevations details & of course plans are co-ordinated. It is a fully parametric operation which makes for seamless turn-around & referencing that accepts changes gracefully. Visualizing & Articulating the nature of form is pure joy. Generating appropriate notes & details that make inhabiting a dwelling is a delight. I have been doing this via CAD since 1992 when i began with form•Z, since then Autodesk Revit is the platform of choice for working drawings and some renderings, form•Z remains the full on rendering engine.

Roland's passion for his profession was obvious the very first time I contacted him. This passion carried through the whole project and reflected in beautiful details and accurate drawings. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I base my services on a rate between $25-40/hour with discounts for projects longer than a week which escalate for longer duration up to 20%. Typically i offer a NOT to exceed ceiling based on my 30+ years of experience doing Drafting & Visualization.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We discuss the project parameters, expectations via phone then begin a series of lookups (most of my work is in Portland OR) we use portlandmaps.com cogenerate a site plat and either begin designing or drafting.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
