FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is fair and competitive. We will usually not be the cheapest, nor will we usually be the most expensive. We provide quality workmanship and excellent customer service. IVECO Electric is a fully licensed and insured electrical contractor. The adage "You get what you pay for" is very accurate. Most times, the cheapest of anything is usually just that--cheap. If you pay for quality in other areas of your life, why stop with the people who are working on one of the most important systems in your home?! Your electrical system is one of the only systems in your home that, if not maintained or serviced properly, could cause a fire. Is this something you really want to be "cheap" with? How much is your personal safety and peace of mind worth? At IVECO, we give our prices up front, and we never do any work without the customer's authorization. Take pride in your electrical system--give us the chance to show you the IVECO difference!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Both owners of IVECO Electric, Patrick and Marshall Ivey, are fully licensed electricians. They both hold licenses in the states of Georgia and Alabama. They are also both certified electrical instructors. Patrick Ivey has over 30 years of experience in the trade, while Marshall Ivey has nearly 20 years of experience. They have both been exposed to residential, commercial, and industrial installations in new construction, renovation, and service formats.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After studying electronics in the military, Patrick Ivey merged his newfound skills with his background in construction and entered the electrical trade. Marshall Ivey pursued a degree in electrical engineering after high school, but soured on the thought of corporate life. After spending some time in manufacturing, Marshall was drawn back to the electrical field, but this time merging his background in construction in as well.
