Introduction: I am very conscientious of the current health concerns for COVID-19 . I follow CDC guidelines still and have received the Moderna shot and subsequent (3) boosters. I continue to disinfect areas I am working in at client homes. I am a "family" for your pets while you are away. I treat them as I would my own with tender loving care. I am a huge supporter of the Humane Society and adopter of rescue cats and dogs as well as strays and ferals. I have experience with all types of family pets. I am an background approved Silver Pro by Thumbtack, an NC Guardian Ad Litem in Union County, NC and an Alumni of the Myrtle Beach Citizens Police Academy. I also have had my background checked by SLED /FBI as I volunteer at the Myrtle Beach Police Department in areas that are secured and sensitive. I have been thoroughly vetted. I recently raised the funding for the Myrtle Beach Police Dept.K-9 Officers (3) Apprehension Dogs to get the new K-9 Storm Lightweight Kevlar vests. The funding was over $12,000.00. The dogs now have 2.5 Lb. vests as compared to 13 Lbs.!! Imagine chasing down a criminal in 100 degree weather wearing 13 Lbs. on your back? These dogs hunt down bad criminals and now have a better chance at surviving a gunshot wound. I enjoy being a part of a vital service that allows a family to have a stress free vacation. I enjoy the bonding experience that keeps the pet(s) happy, healthy, and well maintained while their "forever" family is away. I like animals more than I do people sometimes, LOL😊 I am providing overnight pet care not drop in visits for my rates. The rate is per 24 hours. I pro-rate for partial days. If your pet has medical needs- I can handle that for you as well. Need a schedule adhered to- I can do that🐻

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes. It is on my profile under quotes. I do offer a discount for pre-paid services. It is 10% for everyone. I accept cash and checks or payment via PayPal. No credit cards.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I receive a request for a quote. I need the clients phone number, email address and dates of service in the details of the request. I email the client the pet information sheets prior to a meet and greet. I set up a meet and greet with the client. I go out to their home and meet their pets and discuss their needs and schedules for feeding, walks, meds, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken training classes with my pets. I am a volunteer with animal groups and I have first hand- hands on knowledge of pet care. Back in the 1980's I had a pet sitting service in Matthews, NC. I am a background approved Pro by Thumbtack. I am a member of the Myrtle Beach Citizens Police Academy Alumni and have completed their 10 week course. I also am a fundraiser for the Myrtle Beach Police K-9 Department, securing new K-9 Storm vests for the three apprehension dogs, Coax, Beck and Yep. I am also an NC Guardian Ad Litem. I have been thoroughly vetted.
