Genres in our repertoire include: Oldies Pop Music (Sinatra, Dean Martin, jazz standards), Latin Jazz, Tango Music, Italian & Spanish Music, Popular Movie Themes, Irish Fiddle Music, Newer Pop Music (The Beatles, John Mayer, etc) & more!
We usually perform as a violin-guitar duo, but can expand to include our other members.
We have two singers - a Spanish tenor and a soprano, a pianist, guitarist, & violinist in our group.
We can perform as a complete ensemble or in select groups to suit the client's venue and budget.
Our motto is sharing beautiful music with your community! We love making people happy with our music and seeing the enthusiastic response from our audience.

Capitol City Ensemble has performed at the California State Capitol for many years now as part of our Holiday Music Program.
The group's excellent musicianship and engaging personalities make them very popular with our visitors. Lisa Maria plays a variety of styles on the violin, from tango to pop, and the rest of the musical combo is also very adaptable. The are well prepared and always easy to work with.

We are an upscale downtown hotel in Sacramento and have booked Capitol City Ensemble for special events and as lobby/bar entertainment many times over the last few years, including weekly during the summer months. We feel they bring something truly unique to the atmosphere of our hotel, their talent is really incredible. They've been professional, prompt, and gracious in every interaction.
