Introduction: Train of Thought is a professional chess education company that brings the academic and social benefits of chess to students (K-12) in public, private and charter schools across the United States. Train of Thought also provides enrichment chess classes for after-school programs, summer camps, social service agencies and other youth focused non-profits.
Train of Thought brings chess to schools because we believe it directly contributes to academic performance and social development. Studies have shown that chess is associated with enhanced cognitive abilities, problem-solving skills, greater capacity for knowledge, and social development.

Train of Thought Chess Education is a chess program like no other. The passion and excitement they bring to the game is infectious. Students come to class eager and excited to learn. The incorporation of goal-specific lesson plans and creative chess puzzles keeps students engaged.
