Introduction: Experienced carpenter and apprentice electrician - on time and reliable. I bring a well-rounded skill set with 10 years experience building and renovating homes/offices –foundation to finish work. My father and grandfather were master carpenters and I’ve worked beside a certified electrician on whole house projects for 5 years. I can repair or build new decks, gates, storage, closets, pergolas, install trim, lighting, fans, or other electrical components. Have my own tools/transportation, and I ask a fair rate based on labor. Serving most of central Los Angeles and Eastern Valley. The job isn't done until you are satisfied. Working in this trade has led to many incredible developed skills. With each new job I learn something new, or hone a skill I have learned before. This get me excited to work, and find out how much more I can do.

Mike was everything you're hoping for in a handyman. Punctuality, competency amd experience, and honesty. He fixed several electrical issues around our house; believe me this is stuff you don't want to mess with without the proper knowledge. Excellent job, very fair rates, safe clean great guy. We highly recommend him.

Mike has done a lot of work for me over the past several years. All of his work has exceeded my expectations - no matter how big or small. In addition to the A+ technical/knowledge piece, his work ethic, honesty, dependability, professionalism and great nature are a throwback to how things "used" to be. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
General carpentry/repair/handyman service: $30.00 /hr Electric/wiring: $35.00 /hr Minimum for sub panel install $500 Minimum for any job $50.00
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will respond to any request in a reasonable amount of time with a call/text/email depending on preferred method of contact. After that we set prices, times, dates, and any concerns for said job. I will always be on time and I guarantee you will be satisfied or the job isn't finished.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 10+ years in general residential carpentry; everything from foundations to finish work. Experience in new house builds and renovations. I have worked under master carpenters during that time and a certified electrician for over 5 years. I am working towards my electricians license at the moment, and do have significant experience in residential electric work and knowledge of CA code. Recently I have installed solar panel arrays on metal roof structures and ground mount systems.
