FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing system for my service depends upon the location of the lesson and the length of the lessons. For those who would like to lesson in their home, the price is $25.00 per 30 minute session. Lessons in home that are an hour or more in length will cost $50.00 per lesson. If the student would like to take lessons in a music studio, the cost will vary depending upon the studio. The first studio costs $20.00 per lesson. Each studio is fully equipped with recording equpiment, amplifiers, pianos, music stands, and chairs. The second studio location is $27.50 per lesson.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process that I use for working with a new customer differs some depending upon many other factors. For younger students, I use the first lesson as a way to become more acquainted with the student and his or her needs and wants. I also take this time to speak with the students guardian about what is expected of the student on a weekly basis and how lessons are typically structured. The student might begin learning music immediately or may wait until the following lessons to begin working. For older students, I also begin with getting to know the student. Once we have become more acquainted with each other, I let older students guide the lessons with the topics and skills that they want to acquire. Older student typically begin learning music during the first lesson.
