Introduction: I opened my stable January 1, 2000 and have been taking care of horses and horse lovers ever since. Located five minutes from the airport and ten minutes from west Knoxville, convenience is a major help in attracting boarders as well as people who want to learn to ride.
I have been concentrating on teaching adults how to ride. Lessons are private and last about 3 hours. You pay only $50 for each lesson and usually all lessons are on the trail. No going in circles, no painful exercises, no grouchy, bored lesson horses.

I always wanted to ride. My daughter learned to trail ride here and Kathy Lovingood said "just get on the horse and I'll teach you" "I was terrified) granted I had learned some by being present during my daughter's lessons. The horses are perfect for riding in that they know what to do but you have to be trained to tell them what you want. Unlike going on a commercial trail ride where you are basically just a passenger on the horse. My daughter and I both lease at Lovingood Springs Farm since graduating from our lessons and ride the beautiful diverse trails every weekend. Rates for lessons and leasing are very affordable.
