First cleaning was rescheduled because the maid didn’t show up. The owner came and did it when it was rescheduled. She did a great job cleaning. I scheduled a second cleaning and it was rescheduled to several different times during the day. The person that cleaned was not the owner and it was not done well. The kitchen floor was still dirty and the bathroom had the counter cleaned but nothing else. I contacted the owner who apologized. She said maybe the maid didn’t see the bathroom but i felt like she had been in there as some things looked clean and it smelled faintly Like cleaner. She asked the maid who said she didn’t notice the bathroom and apologized but nothing mentioned about the kitchen. Her solution was to come out to redo it and “only” charge me 40$. I was appalled. I said basically you are asking me to pay 115$ for what was supposed to be a 75$ clean. I couldn’t believe she was even suggesting that I pay MORE when it wasn’t done right. I told her the only way to solve it fairly would be for her to come back and redo it or refund me 35$ of the 75$ which I thought was being nice on my part since I had someone else on here clean for that amount and only decided not to use them again due to scheduling issues. The owner told me she would refund 30$ of it. She did as she said and promptly refunded the money which I appreciated and was going to leave it at that. The more I thought about it the more upsetting it was to me that this whole thing happened and I thought maybe I couldn’t do prevent someone else from going through that trouble.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing starts at $75 for a basic weekly or biweekly cleaning. However, we do like to give a quote in person after looking at a residence.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step to is schedule an appointment with the new customer to come by and give them a free quote. We will tour your home and provide you with a quote that day. We will then schedule a cleaning that works around our customers schedule. We are very flexible with scheduling so that we can better meet the needs of our clients.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an AS in Science/Arts. I have many years experience working in Human Resources and over 2 years experience in residential and commercial cleaning.
