Our services include interior design, space planning, conceptual (3D modeling), color selection, custom window treatments, staging and construction consulting. We specializes Traditional Southern homes with a modern twist and love working with clients to infuse their space with personality. Our services include space planning, 3D modeling, color selection, furniture and art selection, window treatments, and staging. We also work with construction consultants and artisan contractors who provide direction and advise on more complicated structural projects. Carolyn worked with me on the perfect design for my new home. There were elements that I liked from several plans, but no one plan had it all. Carolyn listened to all the things on my "must have" list, provided 3D drawings, and helped me develop the perfect plan. She is very creative and the renderings she provided were an excellent way to get a feel for the space. I actually felt like I was walking through my house. With her patience and guidance, I am able to build my dream home and I couldn't be happier!!

Working with Carolyn and the team from Simply Southern was a complete joy. She sat down and listed to what I wanted, we threw some ideas around, and tapped into her creativity as a designer. She is also a woman with great style and taste! As the project moved forward, I realized giving her the wheel would be the smartest decision ever! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Rates for interior design services begin at $50.00 per hour. Project development and renderings begin at $150.00. Depending on the complexity and duration of a design/build, some projects may be billed on a price per square foot or cost plus basis.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We believe meeting with you in your space is the best place to start. This allows us to get a feel for your project, your tastes, your lifestyle, and your personality. It also helps us develop a plan that is as functional for your lifestyle as it is beautiful. Once the project is discussed, a plan and renderings are developed. We can provide as much detail and insight as requested. When necessary, we will work directly with your contractors, architects, and tradesmen to complete your project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Simply Southern at Home is made up of independent interior design and construction professionals with a combined experience of more than 100 years. All designers, engineers and contractors hold degrees in their area of expertise or have equivalent work experience in their trade.
