FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I provide services at an hourly rate, and in full package deals. However, depending upon the needs of the customers and whether we are meeting face to face and whether the customer needs some guidance or coaching to stay on track or really intense training, I adjust my rates and fees accordingly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin with a consultation so I can get to know the individual and their needs and he or she can get to know me. We lay all the expectations out on the table and figure our the best ways to communicate with one another. This lays really good groundwork for open communication and a good relationship with my customers.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's degree in English Literature as well as a Master's degree, plus lots of extra classes and credits in coursework that interested me in my career along the way. I am a lifelong learner that believes you never stop learning, which is why I like to assist anyone who wants to continue learning or working to achieve their goals in school, careers or life. I am also an Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association, and I attended their Summer Training Institute before I began a career in college counseling.
