We hired T's family moving the night before our big move. I was worried that we wouldn't find someone on such short notice. Luckily, we were able to book them for 12:30 the next day. We had gotten a call from them around 12:15 saying that they were going to be there in 15 minutes. 12:30 rolls around and nobody has shown up. We wait until 12:50 PM to call them because we literally just have 2 heavy things left to unload and they said they were about 20 minutes away. We ended up just canceling them because were weren't going to pay for 2 hours of labor just to move 2 big things so we just did it by ourselves.

I hired T's Family Moving to move a piano from my apartment into a moving truck. He didn't show up morning of the move like we agreed. Tried to call him several times and no answer. Got a text 5 hours after he was supposed to move my piano asking if I still wanted help. I ended up having to move the piano myself.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The 1st 2 hours is 289.00 and it's 89 a hour after that. All jobs are 2 hour minimums and we do the payment when we're done wit the job.i do give discounts just for helping our business.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To reassure them in different ways that we take pride in our work and we Will never let them down and to let them know that they are part of the Stevens family now and they gotta Freind for life.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
my father has been a maintenance man and handyman my whole life so he taught me a lifetime of stuff. and I've got 5 years experience with maintenance,painting,roofing,building sun rooms and mounting TV's big and small and many other things but i been moving furniture for the last 10 plus years and my guys i got working are experience veterans and they are the best at what they do. I make sure any guy i got working for me knows how figure out any obstacle they come to and if they can't than they know to call me but my guys always know to keep a cool head and focus on the task at hand during any obstacle that gets in there way.
