Dr. Dawn Sheehan

Introduction: Dr. Sheehan is a highly skilled psychologist with over 20 years of experience in the field, and is licensed in Pennsylvania and Florida. She treats adults in individual, family and marriage/relationship counseling and executive coaching. Dr. Sheehan is also a forensic examiner, and has extensive expertise in psycho-legal consulting. With privacy and confidentiality at it's cornerstone, her sole-practitioner practice setting offers a relaxed and professional environment. I began my career over 20 years in Palm Beach County, Florida where I founded what became the largest forensic practice in the 15th Judicial Circuit. In addition to my forensic practice, I enjoyed a successful private practice treating adults in individual and couples counseling. Specializing in forensics was exciting and extremely rewarding for me, but I always maintained a deep passion for providing traditional psychotherapy to my private patients. After relocating to Chester County, Pennsylvania I decided to focus on private practice with individuals and couples. My work in this area is rooted in traditional psychotherapeutic concepts while combining more contemporary techniques. My patients' comfort and confidence is of utmost importance to me. I am a sole practitioner, which allows for complete confidentiality, privacy and comfort. I strongly believe that each of my patients possesses the intellectual and emotional capacity required to meet the internal and external challenges of life with increased insight and drive necessary to achieve their ultimate goals.
