- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I base price on distance traveled and time spent. But I promise I'm always fair.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Back in 2009 my husband and I were celebrating our first anniversary together. Since we did not have a traditional wedding (opting to by a home instead) I thought it would be fun to get professional photos of us done. Much to my disappointment I couldn't find a reasonably priced photographer, you had to pay so much and get so little for it. I built my business with the message that you can have beautiful photos to frame without spending a months mortgage/rent. I love what I do and care about my clients deeply.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your research, not ever photographer is like the next. Different styles, strengths. Make sure who ever you choose is a right fit for you and what you want. Your photographers skill plays as much a part as your relationship with them.
