- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I discuss exactly what the client's wants and needs are. I take note of skin tone and wardrobe choice(s) for the event. I make sure my vision is in harmony with my clients and offer pre-event trials if desired.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've studied theatrical makeup, and I have been making women, and men, look their best for thirty years.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a theater baby, and performed in my first play at age five. I soon discovered that behind the curtain was where I shined and began assisting my older best friend with makeup jobs for traveling theater troops and ballet companies when I was ten. It's been my passion ever since.
