Introduction: What is Maryville Fitness? It is a private personal training studio that focuses on functional training and fat loss mainly for adults 40 and over. We also offer nutrition solutions to help you get quicker, more noticeable results. I'll give you a brief summary of my background as a trainer. I started off as a personal trainer at Club Fitness in 2007. After successfully training clients for several years, I decided to also get a better grasp on nutrition and received my Bachelors of Science in Human Nutrition/Dietetics in 2012. While in school, I took part in research on obesity relating to fatty acid intake. With my unique combination of education and experience (over 6,000 sessions served), I believe Maryville Fitness will provide the best training program for you. For the first meeting, each client is given a body diagnostic to assess any injuries, muscle imbalances, and obstacles to reach your goals. The information from the body diagnostic is used to then design a customized training program tailored to your individual needs. You then have the option to either do personal training, partner training (2 clients:1 trainer), or small group training (3 to 6 clients: 1 trainer). All sessions are 30 minutes in length. Even in small group training, you will still be doing different exercises than others in the group based on your goals and specific needs. No cookie-cutter bootcamp with everybody doing the exact same thing. Maryville Fitness is located at 17 Schiber Ct, off of Vadalabene Dr behind Anderson Hospital, right next to K-10's Model Trains. I was trained by Dustin Pelate within a period of four month. We went over core strength, muscular endurance, weight training, etc.. My initial experience was truly beneficial to learning my body's ability in the personal training fitness area. I learned more within those four months than my 4 years of college cardio/fitness classes combined!

We love Maryville Fitness! My husband (47 yo) and I (36 yo) started working out with Dustin roughly 10 months ago. We didn't know where to start, just that we needed to do something active and lose weight. The two week trial was all we needed to know this was the perfect fit for us. Dustin is very supportive and not an "in your face" trainer. He has helped us lose weight, tone up and feel better about ourselves. Dustin always listens to our needs/concerns/goals. All sessions are geared to what we are working on. We laugh a lot and feel very comfortable just being ourselves. We highly recommend Maryville Fitness!!
