Introduction: Over the past 8 years I've seen a lot of swings. Working within a hitter's style to optimize their swing is my top priority. My goal has always been that if you were to watch 10 of my clients swing the bat, it would not be obvious that they were my clients. We live in a baseball world where everyone thinks they've figured out some big secret to the swing that will solve every hitter's problems. The truth is far more complicated and variant than that. I do believe there are some consistencies among great hitters that allow them to maximize their natural ability, but beyond those consistencies lies an endless combination of styles and movements that allow a hitter to be unique. When you train with me, I won't force you into a box - your swing is yours and no one else's.

Kyle approaches each hitter as unique. He consistantly works on core fundamentals while tailoring strengths of the individual student to the lessons. By working on correct launch angles to match the appropriate hitters bat speed Kyle has helped my son increase his power and consistency. He also works with students on refining the mental aspects of the game and relates well with players due to his playing experience.

Coach Weldon not only has a deep knowledge of hitting, but is able to convert that knowledge into practical teaching methods. Working with Coach Weldon, my son has learned the finer points needed to be a better hitter and the work ethic it takes to continue to improve. I highly recommend Weldon Hitting.

Kyle is by far the best coach we have ever worked with. He has taught our son extremely valuable batting skills. Our son went from scoring 1-2 home runs a season to 12 runs in season, not counting 3 home runs in a scrimmage game- and he was only 11 years old. Kyle is great with kids and our son absolutely adores him. He always looks forward to practice with Kyle because he knows he will get better. Plus, Kyle makes it fun. We STRONGLY recommend Kyle as a baseball coach!! There's no better coach!!
