Introduction: 30+ year successful career in music performance and teaching. Orchestral and chamber musician as well as Broadway show drummer and percussionist. I have taught drums and percussion in Bergen county for over 15 years and am very comfortable and experienced working with all ages and abilities. I enjoy teaching very much. I love to encourage and work with my students and watch their growth and development. I know how to find the most effective ways to teach the individual student and I work hard to nurture every one of my students natural abilities.

Greg was very caring, patient and compassionate with my son during his percussions private lessons. My son improved a lot under his kind and attentive (focused) sessions after school. Due to my son's perfect pitch in music, he was successful in his High School Marching Band and Concert Band. I would strongly recommend Greg for students who need one-on-one lessons in music. My son respects him as an instructor and enjoys his company as a friend.

Greg is a great percussion teacher. My daughter just started her lessons (drum set) with him (age 14), and she is learning a lot in just the first few lessons. She also performed in his recital at the end of last year. He is flexible with scheduling sessions and has provided a lot of information on after school activities. Greg also helped us pick out the right electronic drum set, so we didn't buy equipment that we didn't need. My daughter is having a lot of fun as Greg makes sure she learns the basics, but also is playing along with some of her favorite songs from the radio.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard charges for coming to my home to work are: 30 minutes $55 45 minutes $65 60 minutes $75 I am willing to work with a student who has financial restrictions.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First meeting is focused on talking about students goals and wishes for their studies with me. What drew them to drumming and music and what types of music are they most interested in working on. Then work on basic hand technique so student gets a good idea what will be required as far as making steady progress in their studies.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
B.M and M.M in music performance. M.M. from The Juilliard School. 25+ years of performance and teaching experience in the NYC area.
