- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge by the hour and do not request any time obligation from my clients. I work for you only as much as you request.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Working with new clients is one of my favorite things! I I love listening and finding out what people like about their home and what they don't like and want to change. I enjoy helping them discover ways to customize, upgrade and update their home and putting those action plans on different timetables of immediate things to be done and things to be done in the near future and beyond. I love to educate and empower my clients so they can make future purchases and decisions with confidence. I listen to what my client likes about their home and what they don't, helping them identify what they want to change. Sometimes people need the aid of a professional just to "put a finger" on some missing piece or askew element that is keeping them from their ideal atmosphere. I enjoy helping people discover ways to customize, upgrade and update their home, creating a timetable of tasks for immediate action or long term goals. I love to educate and empower my clients so they can make future purchases and decisions with confidence.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 20 years of interior design experience working with many different clients on many different projects. I taught interior design seminars and classes, most recently at George Mason University Lifelong Learning Institute, based on my two decades of experience in addition to my formal training in a wide array of industry subjects.
