FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $45 per hour--I do a wide variety of tasks and can accomplish a good bit in a short amount of time--I request for a minimum of two hours of work. I give a 10% discount for work completed Mon-Wed. Also when booking between 8 to 10 hours--I lower my rate to $40 per hour for the privilege of being granted a full days work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually reach out in a timely manner for requests and I try to get a feel for the exact needs of the customer. Next we talk about timing, pricing and budget. From there I like to move quickly to the project or estimate. Being thorough about what you need is important. For my part--I only book about a week out and often can work a new customer in right away.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In my teens I worked as an Electrician Apprentice for a Commercial Electrical Contractor. I spent a year in the maintenance department of a large hotel dealing with many problems of various tasks.
