What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each project presents it's own set of challenges. I offer an honest and fair rate based upon the time it takes to complete the tasks necessary in order to achieve successful results for each client.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I need the general idea, details and goals you have in mind. From that collaboration I may then make any suggestions for the project and provide an accurate quote.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Associates Degree 1990, Please see my LinkedIn Profile for further details.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
In 1996 I created a web site for my embroidery business. It received great reviews and magazine exposure, which led to a freelance opportunity in Web Design and Development that has been ongoing ever since.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have had the opportunity to put small businesses on the map in terms of bringing them to the world of having an online presence, and I have enjoyed working with businesses and non profits world wide on a much larger scale. Everyone has a goal, and large or small I enjoy helping them achieve those goals.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Recently I re-branded one of my own Internet projects that sells decorated apparel to dart players. The site has been a huge success in the niche market since 2006.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure the agency you're working with has their head wrapped around your products, services, target audience and goals. A six year old can build a web site, a professional creates your online presence, your virtual storefront, your digital impression and your tools for success.
