James was an absolute pleasure to work with! He accommodated our many different family portrait combo requests and had a lot of great ideas for what to shoot. We had unexpectedly cold temps and somewhat cramped quarters but he made the best of it and we had a great time getting to know him. We have so many lovely pictures from our wedding and I love that we have a USB so we can print what we like, when we like. I would work with James again in a heartbeat!

James may be new to the field but he makes up for that on talent. He was punctual, polite and attentive. And most important, he was patient around my crazy family. I feel we are going to get a great set of pictures from our special day. The one thing I would suggest for him to do, is to start with a shot list when a client hires him. That way you both know exactly what you are looking for the the day of the event. I wish I had started out with my list to save a bit of time. Also scouting out the site would be advantageous to both parties. I would definitely recommend James for any event. I really can't wait to see our photos!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My wedding packages start at $1000 for a six hour day, but my standard packages start at $1800. Packages include all photography, travel and a usb of images with release rights. I am happy to work with you on custom wedding packages, if you have different needs. For instance, I offer a small wedding package for under four hours for $800. I sometimes work with an assistant to check aesthetics and get the best family groupings.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love getting to meet my new clients in person, but often an initial phone call is the most convenient way for many customers.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended Milwaukee Institute Art and Design Photography. But beyond education, I've worked with and trained with the best, interning with a premier Wisconsin Wedding Photographer.
