I hired Elizabeth as the make up artist for me and my bridesmaids for my wedding. She was very easy to communicate with in the months leading up to the wedding and she answered all of my questions about the services that she offered as well as the logistics of how the morning would go. She was very reasonably priced and her skills far exceeded my expectations. Both her airbrush and normal make up applications lasted all day and night and I loved the natural but beautiful look that she gave me. I really appreciated that she was willing to change around her own schedule to accommodate my photographers. It was an absolute pleasure working with her, she truly made me feel like a princess :)

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to email with a customer to answer any and all of their questions. Let them feel comfortable. I give them all of my pricing and booking information and then if they decide to hire me, I collect a deposit to hold their wedding date. (Via PayPal) At that time, the bride will typically then book a hair and makeup trial.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your homework! Ask questions. Ask to see the artists previous work or portfolio/website. Cheaper does NOT mean better. One of my favorite quotes: "If you think it is expensive to hire a professional, try hiring an amateur." It's so true. You get what you pay for.
