- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with new clients, we first like to get an understanding of what it is they are envisioning for their photographs. The photographer does this by asking a series of general questions. Is the location the focus point of the photography session? Perhaps, a theme is the most important, say, baby's first cake smash, engagement portraits, or fall photos. How many people will be involved in the session and what is their age? Understanding the motives of our client(s) helps us to guide them through scheduling, coordinating outfits, selecting locations, and customizing props. All of these things work together to create perfect photographs. The next step in this process is to schedule a day and time for the photography session. A fifteen percent deposit is required to reserve your session day and time. The deposit acts as a placeholder and a credit towards the overall cost of your package. Clients must pay in full on or before the day of their session. When the session ends, the photographer can begin post-processing the images in Photoshop. Typically, this takes two to four weeks, depending on the number of images. Our policy is to confirm a delivery date with clients during the planning phase. The date range above is only an estimate. The final step in this process is delivery of your images! We distribute digital images through a private online gallery. Clients then download their images to a computer, smartphone, flash drive or other means of digital file sharing. Brides and Grooms will receive a flash drive or CD by mail or hand delivery. As well as, all physical prints and wall art. Pick-up is available upon request.
