- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Alicia Morgan obtained her Juris Doctorate Degree from West Virginia University in 2009, and she passed the Kentucky Bar exam in 2010. She is licensed to practice Federal Immigration Law in all of the United States. She has approximately 9 years experience in practicing immigration law. But more than that, she has compassion on your immigrant experience, as her first client while she was in law school was her former fiance from Argentina. She knows how difficult it can be to deal with the government agencies on your own, and she knows how frustrating it can be to feel lost in a confusing immigration system. Due to the overwhelming frustration of the immigration system, that fiance decided not to come to the United States and to break off the engagement. This only further encouraged Alicia to become an immigration attorney to ensure that families are reunited in a timely manner. She also vowed to help clients understand the immigration processing times and their likelihood of success so that they felt they were in more control and peace while their immigration case is pending.
