FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No one likes paying by the minute or the hour. So, we offer flat fees on non-contested matters. We are extremely transparent and there will never be any question as to what our fees are and what we charge for.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We encourage any potential new client to call our office. One of our dedicated intake specialists will listen to what you have to say and determine if it is something The Probate Law Firm can assist you with. If our team determines that it is, then we will schedule a telephonic consultation with one of our attorneys. There is no charge for a consultation! Schedule permitting, we try and do same day appointments. Generally, consultations are scheduled for 1-hour but tend to last between 30-45 minutes. During the consultation, an experienced attorney will speak with you and listen to what you have to say. He or she will ask questions and based on what you share with us, and they will determine if this is something we can help you with. If it is, we will send you an Engagement Letter, which you can sign from your phone, computer or tablet. We will also send you an invoice which you can also pay from your phone or computer, or we can process payment over the phone. Once we receive both a signed Engagement Letter and payment, our representation begins and we will begin working on your matter immediately. Also, if this is not a matter we can help you with, we will make recommendations and suggestions and hopefully point you in the right direction.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
